    1. Thanks Kymber. These guys were just taking it easy, but I think they made it hard for the fish that were swimming around minding their own business. Happy Thursday. Allan

  4. Love your seal photos, Allan 🙂 Much like dolphins, seals seem like friendly characters full of personality. They come across as curious, playful, intelligent and cautious. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

    1. Some seals look friendly, but many are not, especially if you are in the way of their next meal. These ones were having a lot of fun though. Thanks for reading Aiva. Allan

  7. Your heron pictures in particular are gorgeous but all of them are terrific, Allan! I love watching the seals (but am careful of them if they’re on the beach) when they’re in the water.

    1. Thanks Lynette. We only saw herons a few times in the fall. Better sightings in spring and summer. As to seals, we are always careful when we are near them and they are on the beach. Amazing how fast they can squirm after you when they get stressed and their teeth are so sharp. Thanks for reading Lynette. Allan

  8. Holy cow – your heron photos are spectacular. Spotting seals can be a challenge as they blend in so well.

    1. Thanks Bernie. It was nice the see the herons still hanging about. I think the dull lighting helped us spot the seals. They were very active. Thanks for reading. Have a great Friday. Allan
