Sorry We Mist You!

Another day of rain, fog and mist. Umbrellas were up, umbrellas were down. Puddles and splashes everywhere. We stayed inside for most of the morning except for a bit of shopping.

After lunch, we got a call from B & K that they were out for a walk with long time friend S. They would pop by and we would all walk over to their place for a visit and some grandparent duties. The day’s walk was only 3 km (1 7/8 miles) and we managed to stay mostly dry.

Just before leaving for the walk back to our home, I popped out onto the balcony for a few misty evening photos.

The walk home ws pretty uneventful. After arriving, I walked to Red Buritto to grab some supper. The resulting product was poorly rolled, wet and messy. Never again.

After dinner, we heard from the kids that there had been a positive Covid test. Well, that changes everything. Looks like our last week here might be helping out by making pickups and deliveries, instead of cuddling our new grandbaby. Sigh….
