Photos taken in November 11, 12 and 15, 2023.
Benji here. From time to time, I like to reminisce about the good old days. So many good memories from being with my fur grans, but, this one brings a little tear to my eye.
These photos were taken in the olden days of November 2023, B.B. (Before Brad). Brad was the new dog trainer, who tried to sort me out on that last good day. I heard him speaking words, but as he always says, dogs find human voices annoying. They understand commands and praise, but little else. Hmmm, so he thinks he knows me, eh? Why would I tip my paw?
As Brad left my Hoomins home, he laid out the new rules for my treatment:
- No more food grazing. Meals twice a day only.
- No treats as a reward for good behaviour.
- No talking to the dog…(who was he calling “the dog”) except for commands or praise.
- No furniture or laps….ever.
My thinking at the time was that I could deal with #1 (as I don’t eat much), #2 (as I was watching my figure at this time of year), #3 (That’s OK, I like my quiet time anyway), but #4 Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooh. Please don’t take away furniture and laps.
I was betting that my big brown eyes and extra long eyelashes would melt the grans’ hearts in no time and I would get them to relax these rules, just a bit. Not a chance, apparently, except for the talking thingy. Turns out hoomins can’t keep their yaps shut.
Recalling my Past ยฉ
Recalling my past,
I am getting teary eyed,
thinking about it.
Despite the many changes,
this old dog can learn new tricks.
Here I am keeping an eye on things outside.
I love to watch TV with WA.
Chillaxing
How much is that Doggie in the Window? If you have to ask, you can’t afford me.
Sigh…………..
